Corona, CA (1/31/08) - The Southern California Chapter of NASA is pleased to announce a new rewards program for individuals that don't always finish on the podium. NASA delivers some of the best grassroots racing in the nation and it is common to find fierce competition deep into the field. In keeping with the theme of offering a friendly racing experience, NASA SoCal has created a new program for the competitors that help keep the racing exciting but don't always get the rewards given to the top finishers.

"NASA often approaches the sport in an unconventional way and this is example of another new strategy aimed at making sure everyone has a good time," said Regional Director Ryan Flaherty. He added that "We are fortunate to have great sponsors for this program like 7's Only Racing and Buttonwillow Tire Shop and we hope our folks show their appreciation by patronizing these big supporters of NASA racing."


Cash Credit good towards purchases at 7's Only Racing store or Buttonwillow Tire Shop.

• The following program will apply to all NASA sprint racing and Time Trial classes in the Southern California Chapter.
• To be eligible, there must be 10 or more starters in class.
• Awards will be given for Saturday competition only race(s).
• Award will not be given to any competitors that are found to be at fault for contact.
• Awards for 7's Only and Buttonwillow Tire Shop will alternate each event.
